Wolverhampton 1-4 Brierley Hill & Dudley
Saturday 4th April at Wolverhampton

The game started with a real fast tempo to it, with both sides cancelling each other out. After twenty minutes the dangerous Cain floated in a lovely corner from the right which was met by the diving leg of MCCUE. The lead was quickly doubled after the goalkeepers shot goal kick was cut out by MCCUE who showed excellent control and composure to make it 2-0 at half time.

The second half saw an attacking momentum to Wolverhampton’s play, which saw them pull a goal back. But with 15 minutes remaining quick thinking from Shough set up FREESTONE to lob the keeper from 25 yards, 3-1 BH&D. And finally with 5 minutes remaining excellent approach play from MCCUE saw him pulled down in the area, he slotted the resulting penalty away, for his hatrick. “ This was a fantastic result today, given the number of players withdrawing through injuries, I am so pleased that lads who played gave their all for the cause today, well done!!”

UNDER 13's v. Telford & District
Brierley Hill & Dudley  3  - 0  Telford & District
West Midlands League & ESFA Divisional Cup

 The Brierley Hill and Dudley team went in the game expecting a tough challenge.The game was quite open, with chances falling to both teams during the opening 15 minutes of the game, both teams should a lot of determination and the skills of both teams were very evident.

 Following a sustained spell of pressure Dudley won a corner, which provide the first goal of the game, a fine delivery from Tom Garratt met the head of Connor Stephenson who directed his header straight into the net.

 Telford continued to show courage and determination, with Dudley matching them all the way.

Just a goalkeeper change at Half time, and the second half got underway, Dudley playing with the wind second half. Another battling half with both teams still making chances. Dudley created the majority of chances with a second goal coming from Captain Oliver Bragg.

The game proceeded with Telford losing their determination.The game was finished in style with a well placed effort from Steve Mulaney

 A fantastic team effort with all players and substitutes playing their part in a brilliant display of Football.
