REP TEAM RESULTS & UPDATE
UNDER 16's
Brierley Hill Under 16's won their second fixture in the West Midlands League when they defeated Wolverhampton 2-1 at The Dell Stadium. The team have now qualified for the semi-finals.
COUNTY SELECTION
Brierley Hill's Simon EDWARD (Ounsdale High School) has been selected for the County U.18 fixtures versus Staffordshire in the ESFA/Premier League Competition. The game will be played at Wolverhampton Casuals on Thursday 25th November - Kick Off: 7.30 p.m. simon has also been selected for the fixture versus the R.A.F. at RAF Cosford on Monday 29 November - Kick Off: 7.30 p.m.
Under 14 player - Jan Coulson (Summerhill) has also been selected by the County for the fixture versus Shropshire on Saturday 27 November at Edgecliff High School - Kick Off: 10.30 a.m.
UNDER 11's record their first win..
Redditch 0 Brierley Hill & Dudley 2 -20th November
Brierley Hill U.11's recorded their first win of the season when they met Redditch in the ESFA Burton Shield on 20th November. In heavy conditions Dudley took the lead after a good run from Sam Mantom ended with Michael Collins sweeping a cross into the Redditch net. Just before half time Joseph Stevenson increased the lead to 2-0. Both teams played attractive football in the 2nd half and Redditch failed to reduce the arrears when they missed a penalty. After this the visitors played out the game to record a deserved win.
Brierley Hill's Under 14's reached the Semi-Finals of this season's E.S.F.A.'s Divisional Wolverhampton Wanderers Trophy with a 3-1 vistory over near neighbours West Bromwich. Scorers were Jan Coulston and Sam Richards (2).
Brierley Hill & Dudley will be away to Coventry in the Semi-Finals - the game to be played on or before 24 January 2004
Under 15's kick start their season
Brierley Hill Under 15's scored a 5-1 win over near neighbours Warley in their West Midlands league fixture played at The Dell Stadium. Brierley Hill opened the scoring with Warley equaliusing before Brierley Hill socred their second before the break. A close, keenly contested second half saw the result in doubt until three late goals gave the home side their 5-1 win.
Scorers were Jordan Siviter (2), Chris Raybone, Ben Egan and Joe Watchorn.
