U12 College High 1 v Plantsbrook 5
Plantsbrook U12 Champions
This was a closer game than the scoreline suggests. and had College High put away the chances they created, the result might have been different. Plantsbrook went ahead early in the game through Declan Rigby's well taken free kick. Further goals by Bradley Davies and then Domonick Oliver put Plantsbrook up 3 - 0 at half time. As College High pressed forward in the second half in search of goals, Plantsbrook's quick counter attacking play led to two more goals being scored by George Lowe and Gareth Pugh with a well taken header. Tesra Barnard Wheeler scored a consolation goal late on into the game.
U13 Arthur Terry 2 v Bishop Walsh 3
Bishop Walsh U13 Champions
This final proved to be a very entertaining game in which the result could have gone either way. Nathan Brayford scored for Arthur Terry midway through the first half. Bishop Walsh hit the bar with a great effort by Jamie Eagles before equalising through Nick Caddy. Arthur Terry again took the lead in the second half only for Nick Caddy, to equalise again with his second goal. The game look destined to go into extra time until, just before the final whistle, Joe Chesterman scored a well taken goal which proved to be the winner.
U14 John Willmott 1 v Plantsbrook 2
Plantsbrook U14 Champions
This was another close encounter that either school could have won. Sam Elgar put Plantsbrook ahead midway through the first half. Chances were created at either end until Jim Dale scored a second for Plantsbrook towards the end of the second half. Joshua O'Reilly pulled a goal back just before the final whistle but, in a nail biting finish, time ran out before Willmott could grab an equaliser to send the match into extra time
U15 Arthur Terry 2 v Washwood Heath 0
Arthur Terry U15 Champions
Arthur Terry took an early lead through Jack Eterton in this U15 final, whilst Washwood Heath took time to settle. To their credit, Washwood battled bravely without creating any real chances. There was hope for them whilst the score remained 1 - 0 until Tom Green scored Arthur Terry's second and decisive goal ten minutes before the final whistle. Credit should go to both sides for producing a very competitive but sporting game played in the right spirit.
U16 Arthur Terry 0 v Plantsbrook 4
Plantsbrook U16 Champions
Plantsbook secured their third cup trophy of the season in a very competitive game against Sutton rivals Arthur Terry. Plantsbrook romped into a 3 - 0 lead by half time with goals from James Johnson (2) and Sam Bennett. To their credit, Arthur Terry showed a great fighting spirit in the second half but could not reduce the deficit and victory was sealed when Reiss Johson scored the fourth goal.
