Erdington 's U12s finish the season on a high note beating Coventry 5 - 3 in their final match of the season, agamr  that could have gone either way. Erdington got off to a disasterous start conceding a goal in the first five seconds. Fortunately the team pulled themselves together and levelled the score by half time through Richard Knight.  Shortly after the restart Coventry went ahead only for Ryan Purlic to equalise from close distance. Coventry again took the lead and then missed a penalty. Declan Rigby scored to level the score at 3 - 3. Richard Knight added a fourth after good work by Ryan Purlic and Phil Davies added another goal to put the game beyond doubt. Overall it was  a very entertaining game, played in the right spirit  and a good platform from which to build on next season.
