Erdington See Off The Wolves!
Erdington U13's produced their best performance of the season to defeat a very stong Wolverhampton side by three goals to one in their West Midlands league encounter.
Kicking against a stong wind in the first half, the Erdington defence held firm with Ashley Guest, Aaron O'Neil, Jack Ridley and, man of the match, Michael Connolly all putting in great performances, although Wolverhampton had their chances to score.

Oliver
After ten minutes into the second half Erdington took the lead, following a corner, through Devante Venables. Ten minutes later Ed Stokes added a second and Oliver Myles Hutton scored a third after seventy minutes to put the game beyond doubt. Wolverhampton pulled a goal back and Erdington almost made it four after a great run by Ryan Purlic.
Much satisfaction can be taken from this team performance in which Liam Kinsella and Domonic Oliver controlled the game from mid field. It was good to see that the squad had learnt much from the footballing lesson given to them by Kings Norton earlier in the year.
