Year 7 - Lyndon 5 v Alderbrook 2 (Wednesday 13th May @ Wasst Hills)

A competitive game of football played at Wast Hills, between two teams trying to play good football. Alderbrook started strongly and quickly took the lead with a fine strike. Lyndon then against the run of play scored an equaliser with a curling effort from outside the box. This appeared to spur Lyndon on, who quickly grabbed a second to make it 2-1 at half time.

Lyndon started the second half brightly and quickly added to their total. However within minutes Alderbrook were back in the game after battling their way to a second goal. As the size of the pitch began to take its toll on the young legs, the game became stretched and Lyndon added a fourth and fifth to make the final score 5-2 to Lyndon. A highly enjoyable game played in the right spirit by both teams and very well refereed by the young officials.
